It seems you've configured Verify Database to first perform an offline backup, then verify the data afterwards,
That's why it tries to shut down the system.
Please use help.sap.com for more details about the Verify Database function.

Yeah... I am talking about Oracle... but this can be apply to others database...
My doubts relate generally to reports triggered by DB13 and you mentioned Check Database report... ok I know that runs with system running... in my first message I wrote wrong, I wanted to write Verify Database... this report always give an error the error shows the following error:
... BR0068E SAP system is running or SAP user is connected to database D01 - database cannot be shut down BR1025I Please shut down SAP system first or use the 'offline_force' option ...
So... it is because of this error that I do not understand how can I run this verification of database if this must have to shut down...! It is weird!
