Moreover, as the issue is related to the database library, please ensure that you use the latest database library and kernel patch as outlined in the SAP Note previously mentioned.
(SAP Note 19466). I do not think these messages will negatively impact the system.

We do not face any problems with our SAP system, but I found that my work files dev_w<x> are full of messages of the following type:
build_stmt: reallocating stmt buffer: 2304 -> 3306 characters
build_stmt: reallocating stmt buffer: 3306 -> 4314 characters
build_stmt: reallocating stmt buffer: 256 -> 2000 characters
build_stmt: reallocating stmt buffer: 2304 -> 3310 characters
build_stmt: reallocating stmt buffer: 3310 -> 4314 characters
build_stmt: reallocating stmt buffer: 256 -> 2000 characters
What does that mean and how can they be avoided?
