[sap-acct] My client wants to change the end day in a fiscal period

Hi All

My client is upgrading from 4.6c to ECC6 in June next year. On the first of June they will move to a calendar fiscal year. They have year dependent 4-4-5 fiscal year for 2010 and for next year, for the months jan to may they want to know if they can keep using 4-4-5 but change the the may month to have an extra week so that there is not a large gap between the end of P5 and start of P6.

My question is can the number days and the end date of a period be changed during the fiscal year (should they make up their minds late)? Or shall I ask them to decide on the end date of each period now and build a fiscal year as they want it. I'm not sure of the ramifications of changing days in a period in the year? The fiscal year is year dependent so this help I believe.
