Hi
Thanks for your answer. And yes, it's Oracle. Adding new datafiles in the sapdata file system with free space is ok but what about datafiles that are already in a FS that's already full ? What to do to make them grow in another FS, if possible of course.
About the long term solution, having several sapdata files is a recommendation that consultants from SAP gave to us when designing the landscape. I rather use just one FS but as per SAP recommendations is better to use several of them.
TIA

you did not tell us what database your are using. I suspect this to be Oracle.
If this is the case, simply add new datafiles in other sapdataXX directories.
Or long term solution, merge all your 7 sapdatas into 1. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | Related Content Most Popular White Papers In the Spotlight _.____.__ |
