Hi
I have one comment to make - Cost Centers collect costs only, not revenues, so I think your report would show only the "L" of the P&L, not the "P". Without revenues there is no way to calculate the profit or loss.

My client has given me a requirement to build up a report for Profit & Loss statement by Cost Center. I am really not sure what to do about it. I have mentioned the layout in hwich they want the report to be built in. I wanted to know if it is possible to build this report in Report Painter. I am going through the concepts of Report Painter off late.

This is the layout they are looking for. There are several Cost Centers. I know it can be achieved in GL-Information System report as well. But they need it in this format. Please advice something about it.
If it is possible to build this report in Report Painter then please let me know the table and the field name that I use in order to create Variable. I tried using table FAGLFLEXT and Account Number as the field name but it didn't work out.
