Hi Mammu, The question of group currency comes when the company code you are configuring is part of a group or holding company. As in India no foreign companies whose HQ is in any foreign country cannot open a company legally as its ownself and have to form a company in India for doing business. Let us suppose that the Holding company is in UAE, with HQ in Dubai. Have opened an Indian company in India, Mumbai. Now the company in Mumbai will do business in INR as per requirement of Indian laws, but at the same time it need to sent the date to its holding company on a periodic basis which will be combined at HQ level, but the currency at HQ is Dhiram. So DHIRAM will be the Group currency of the company in India whose Local/Company code currency is INR Cheers ARI From: sapsstudent via sap-acct <sap-acct@Groups.ITtoolbox.com> Subject: [sap-acct] Financial Implications of adding group Currency To: "arindamsarkar" email@removed Date: Monday, 27 September, 2010, 9:45 PM Posted by sapsstudent on Sep 27 at 12:17 PM Dear Gurus, Can you please let me know, what are the Implications of adding group currency to the company after postings are carried out or company code gone live?
