Hello, Thanks for the reply. But I could not understand about what do you mean by "But instead of making all this modification why not use the standard order in which case requirements will automatically be passed on the MRP". I do not think in case of third party sales with item category TAS, the requirement sare passed to MRP ?? Pls clarify if they pass to MRP and WHY ? since TAs will create PR and PR will be converted to PO. So where is the question of MRP coming into pic with standard TAS settings for third party regards ---------------Original Message--------------- From: AXM Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2010 4:45 PM Subject: Availability check in third party sales. > 1. in case of 3rd party when you use item category TAS..there is no availability check as you don't have that material in your own plant. > > 2. In the item cat or schedule line level you have an option to switch off the creation of PO...you will have to modify the incompletion before you can do this...you also need to switch on TOR both at schedule line and requirement class level..in which case the requirement is transferred to MRP...during planning run the MRP will generate requisitions for these requirements...these requisitions depending on settings are later converted to PO's. But instead of making all this modification why not use the standard order in which case requirements will automatically be passed on the MRP? | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
