Hi

In IMG->Pers. Mgt->Personnel Admin->Customising procedures->.Infotypes->Infotypes, (or in V_T582A), check if the relevant infotypes are set to change the PDC recalc date(P0003-BDERR).

There is a step below this 'Define fields relevant for retro". Here, you can set a specific field value change to cause such change instead of a change in a field which is not relevant for retro run.

Based on this config, for an employee, when you enter data for such infotype for a past date, the system will set this PDC recalc date in IT 3.

Similarly, the config in V_T582A is also done for payroll to retro.

If you specifically want to run retro, then you do what Ranjit said. This applies for Payroll also.
