Good Day Deepak Check the connection at the o/s level. What response is received from this command (from Dev and Prd hosts): telnet <mail server host or IP> 25 The '25' might be '587' instead; they used to use port 25 exclusively and are switching to 587 more recently. Which one (or both may work) depends on how the mail server was setup when it was installed. Background reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_Mail_Transfer_ Protocol\ Depending on whether the first command issued above works (which should be obvious), issue the 'HELO' command (4 letters, upper case) and see if the SMTP server will give you a response. Quit/exit to close the connection. Post back any errors received.
