[sap-log-mm] Unable to escape Confirmation Tab during PO creation

We are using confirmations on our POs and we have made the field required. We have one option that is defined that no inbound delivery and no confirmation is required. We have discovered though, that if the buyer accidently begins entering a Confirmation Category when this particular key is used, that there is no way to back out. If we removea all the data SAP throws error that the category is required. If we enter a category, SAP thorws error it is an invalid one, Green, Yellow and Red escape keys do not work - errors are still thrown. Even the "Stop Transaction" option does not work. The only way out is to kill the window. I am not able to find an OSS note for this. Does anyone have any other ideas?
