Hi,

I think you need to look at your Hardware and then restore your database.

Most Database Corruptions are due to H/W issues.

Dear Gurus,

We are having Oracle 10.2.0.4 on Windows Enterprise Server 2003

While taking offline backup through DB13, I received the Error

SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production on Tue Jul 6 23:01:06 2010
Copyright (c) 1982, 2007, Oracle. All Rights Reserved.
SQL> SQL> Connected.

BR0302E SQLPLUS call for database instance PRD failed
BR0309E Shutdown of database instance PRD failed
BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2010-07-06 23.01.41

On checking the log alert and trace file, I found this error

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [LibraryCacheNotEmptyOnClose],
[], [], [], [], [], [], []
Current SQL information unavailable - no session.
check trace file e:\oracle\prd\102\rdbms\trace\prd_ora_0.trc for preloading
.sym file messages
----- Call Stack Trace -----

On searching on SDN, it states, it is an early warning for database
corruption.

Has anyone faced this problem or can guide me necessary steps or links from
where I can find out what the problem really is

Thanks
