Hello, Use MASS and object BUS3006 Kind Regards and Thanks Waza From: Roy B via sap-acct [mailto:sap-acct@Groups.ITtoolbox.com] Sent: Wednesday, 14 July 2010 10:46 PM To: wnash7658 Subject: Re: [sap-acct] How do I delete a GL Account in ECC 6.0? Posted by Roy B (SAP Financials Expert) on Jul 14 at 10:44 AM Mark as helpful I would not normally say this but the best way to clean it up is to go into your DEV system and edit directly in the tables (SKAT, SKA1 etc.) There you can edit, add, delete whatever you need When the thing is clean, you then transport the complete tables preferably all in one transport request first to TEST and then to PROD. If any accounts are left in any of the systems that should not be there, delete them with TCode OBR2. It is best to do all this when nobody is in the system and to get it done and dusted as fast as possible Accounts that have been posted can not be blown away until year-end. You can only mark them for deletion. I had to do this for a client just over a year ago because they had been creating new accounts in PROD without thinking about the other systems and their Chart of Accounts was accordingly out of whack. It took me an afternoon to get it done Good luck and Regards, Roy Roy Brookes AFA, FInstBA, Senior SAP Financials Consultant Tel: +49 171 268 9635 (mobile) Tel: +49 40 793 19642 (landline) www.RoyBrookes.com Director, Software Partner Solutions limited http://www.Software-Partner-Solutions.com http://www.linkedin.com/in/roybrookes SAP Expert Index Registration: CRF **42819* | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
