I am in an implementation for ERP using recipe mgt. First time I am using recipes in an SAP ERP implementation. Need guidance. Due to WW/MES software we interface with, costing issues, QM/QE and planning concerns, we have TONS of recipes to capture most all of our resources. I keep being told by the config person that only one type of recipe can be used. I see in SAP ECC 6.0 that within master recipes there are several types or usages. Production, ENG/Design, Universal, PM, GR, etc. Can someone brief me or point me to White papers or some documentation on these usages and how they work with PM work orders, Costing, Planning etc. I have been unable to find specific docs on this from SAP.com. Any help would be appreciated.
