[sap-hr] ESI clarification

Dear All,

I have a scenario where one employee joined in June 1st and having gross salary of Rs. 14000 per month where he is eligible for ESI.
But in this month they have paid Miscellaneous allowance of Rs. 4000/- due to early joining so his total salary is 18000/-.

My doubt is he is eligible for ESI but in the starting month he is getting Rs.18K. Management wants to deduct ESI for him.

how to proceed for this..............let me know in detail.......

Note: The same miscellaneous allowance is maintained for few employees who are below gross 15k and it has to consider ESI.
