Hi Jim

&NC& is much more simple fortunately! It's just people being lazy
when creating tables.

Dummy in a field of <5 chars is ' ' (apostrophe space apostrophe). In
2 char fields I have seen space apostrophe used, but it was back in
4.5x days and for a particular situation in CO
