DLT,

How does this VC change take place? Each time you MM02 before GR/GI? VC has 3 purposes
1. To post diff materials of same mat type to different GL
2. Tells which GLs are updated by value when moivements occur
3. Helps post mat values for diff mat types to same GL.

It all depends on your understanding of what happend and what you want but interchanging should not be possible once values are there.

I have found the client I am at is sometimes changing the Valuation Class during MIGO. I don't know why you would want to do this. I have never encountered this before. It must cause reconciliation issues if you say do a GR in one valuation class and change the Valuation Class during goods issue. Can anyone advise on why you would allow for Valuation Class changing during MIGO and what the implications are.
