That's pretty much the same script I'm using.
for %%f in (*.CAR, *.SAR) do sapcar -xvf %%f

Works like a charm.

For %i in (*.?ar) do sapcar -xvf %i This is a command line entry that I have used against over 100 sar/car files. This will create an EPS\IN directory containing all of the EPS\IN files that you can then copy to the USR\SAP\TRANS\EPS\IN directory and use SPAM to load them into the buffer for application.

You would have a directory of say NEW-Support packages which contained all of the downloaded support stack packages and a copy of the latest sapcar.exe. Executing this will create a NEW-support packages\EPS\IN with all of the extracted files.
