I'm betting on the poorly designed exit.

My reason for betting that it was an accident: It is just too obvious. No ones going to point a finger at themselves and say please fire me.

Have your basis administrator examine the system logs and see if anything can be determined that way.

Additionally, In your Quality system, work with debug. See if you can get to a point that the accounting document was created and then crash the session. Perhaps the VBRK will roll back but the accounting document won't. SAP may have their commit in the wrong place.

Neal

Oh, I'm interested. Working a project at the same time so apologize for not responding. Still trying to figure out the cause. Again, any suggestions on where to look is appreciated. So far, can't find any change log history.

Zia,

Conducting a detailed public discussion of how SAP can be broken helps the rogue users more than it helps those trying to prevent it. If that is what you are asking, then no I won't do it. Craig has a specific problem and so I'd be glad to further assist him further privately (and only on his specific problem). But since he has shown no interest, I think that is a dead issue.

As to what help I can reasonably be in preventing this kind of thing from happening intentionally (BTW - I am still inclined to think it was an accident)... 1) No one should have debug change in Production. 2) no one should have SQ01 or SQ02 in production except perhaps the basis administrator. 3) Every transport object that has even the least bit of code in it should be checked by an un-involved technical coding expert before transport. 4) If you don't trust your programmers, fire them! 5) many others exist and more are being created every day.

HTH,
Neal

Its very enlightening discussion. R. can you please elaborate on other possibilities.

Order doc flow status says Archived but no billing docs have been archived. Docs can be viewed in VBRP? We have validated that it is isolated to this one order billing. Not sure how this would be possible especially with subsequent documents created. Any ideas?
