Hi When re-hiring an empl, the old pernr should be used unless the emp changes from permanent to casual or other empl group (or vice versa) which would cause a significant number of processing issues/differences. The reference pers no. is only to refer the old pers no. and to copy the selected infotypes. To process the employee's old and new data for the annual reports, process these separately for one year. From the next year, business is as usual. Hope this helps. Regards, JG
