I always create material master for these types of materials with a basic unit of measure either "foot" (linear foot) or even better, "square foot" (in case the roll width changes).
Then each batch would be received with the actual number of linear or square feet, and the issues can be done in the same manner.

hello~~ guys~~
I'm doing a SAP project.
I have some problem now.
we are using roll type material as raw material with batch management.
but, everytime the unit are different.
today we receipt 1 roll, 1200 meter with batch no 100.
yesterday, we receipt 1 roll, 1100 meter with batch no 99.
two material have same material code.
When we issue these material, we must issue by roll not meter unit.
In that case, who make material issue reservation are doesn't know what batch has specific meter.
even if user make reservation that has material 1000meters, we need to issue 1100 meters, batch 99.
how can i set up IMG??
