Hi Teofilia
I do not understand your requirement.
Why do you want to peg a fixed exchange rate to a fixed General Ledger
Account, at all?
An Exchange rate is the bridge between two different currencies for
quantifying the monetary value of a transaction. The only criteria that need
to be considered are the a. time-frame ( exchange rates usually are volatile
and are time-centric....viz. exchange rate is dependent on a key date from
which it can apply ) and b. the participating pair of currencies.
An Exchange rate is universal and also client-centric ( viz. all company
codes should be using the same rate at a given point of time, no matter
which accounts are involved)
Therefore, I do not see any relevance with regard to using a fixed exchange
rate per a) General Ledger Account / b) Specific General Leger Accounts.
To the best of my knowledge, I am afraid there is no provision to define
exchanage rate per G L account/ given GL accounts. Exchange Rates have to be
client centric , time centric and have to be uniform. Therefore, I do not
think it is possible in SAP.
