[sap-dev] Custom Button on Appraisal Form

Hi SAP,
I am trying to create a custom button on the appraisal document (Copy objectives button) which allows users to copy previous year?s objective to the current
year?s appraisal form.
I have tried creating a button and an action event through the webdynpro side. I have also tried creating the following:
1. Value Determination BADI
2. Free Enhancement BADI
3. Push Button Access BADI
From what I understand, push button access allows a button to be placed on the form during its creation but the text cannot be changed. Free enhancement does
not allow me to update BODY_CELL_NOTES which is exactly the main operation. That can be done using the Value Determination BADI.
Can you please tell me as to how I can combine all these and create and button on the form and assign a BADI for the same?
