[sap-basis] MSSQL 2008 DB broken - How to get SAP running again?

Hi all,
I have a big problem with my SAP Testsystem, SAP NW 7.0 with EHP1. ABAP and JAVA Stack installed on the same server.
Somehow the database 'model' got stuck in restore and therefore the mssql 2008 database is not starting anymore. Thus, the system is down but we are in the middle of an BI-Project an
An OSS Call is open since a couple of days but so far SAP is not able to provide a solution for this problem.
When I was talking with the SAP Technician he mentioned that the easiest way to get the system running would be a homogenious System Copy. But for this I guess the DB has to run, or am I wrong.
Please advise. The Matter is getting serious.
