I just found the solution for a similar problem here.
To see all the active infotypes for an employee without going into each infotype individually, use this transaction: S_AHR_61015471 or follow this menu path: Human Resources > Personnel Management > Administration > Info System > Reports > Administration Taiwan > Infotype overview for employees
I know it says "Taiwan" but we use this for every country we have implemented and it's the fastest way to check an employees infotypes to get information. Sure helps to see it all in one place!
Thereafter you have to check the start dates in all IT. In my case it was absence quotas which had the problem.
