Is this problem also occurring in your test system? Is your save message
successful?
The PO number is kept in tables EKKO and EKPO. Use tcode SE16N to see if PO
is in those tables.
Does the problem occurs for all PO's or just some? You should report to
SAP. In ECC 6.0 there is an OSS kernel patch fix where FI doc numbers were
intermittently dropped.
