yes - the existing batches must be de-classified (make note of characteristic values if they must be restored later). then change the material master, then reclassify the batches and restore any characteristic values.

Dear MM Gurus,
Is it possible to change the class if wrong class maintain in the material master?.Stock of 10 batches available with the wrong class. So is it possible to change the class in the material master.
