You might want to try running transaction MSAB and create a mass processing variant for the plant you are planning. This creates the planning file entries necessary to initialize LTP

The way we use LTP, we next create a Total Planning Run using transaction MSBT. Once that is complete, run transaction MS02 for the product group.

I have loaded demand via MD62, created a planning version via MS31, ran MRP via MS01, and SAP does not created any demand for the plan version. Am I missing something somewhere?
