[sap-acct] Changing Reference Key fields after auto populated

We are using subsitution rules to auto populate our Reference keys 1, 2, and 3. We have also changed our configuration to allow the fields to be changeable. However, the fields appear to be open for changes, but if the field is already populated it will not allow for the change to be saved. I've already reviews the settings in OB32 and everything looks good. How do I get the reference key fields to save new data to the line item?
