Hi Li
I would suggest:
a)Config a comp.method for the AL quota type.
b)Create a pgm to be run at the end or begin of each year, to go through the empl, their abs quota bal, then create a quota comp.IT 416 input file (just with Infotype, pers no, date, comp meth, quota type, no.of hrs/days, using this quota comp meth) for the bal hrs/days, setting the output for processing in the background as a batch session automatically.
When this is processed it will go through the P0416 main pgm and create the necessary IT 416 records for the employees.
On this website, after you login, at the top of the screen you can find the search area. You enter key words 'quota compens' and select 'toolbox IT' as the area to search. Thne press search.
Then open the post with title "Feature for Time Quota type field...IT0416". Open all the resonses under it. You can find my response on 7/24/2009 describing the config and how to use in entering IT 416.
