Hi,
From EHP1 NW 7.0 or 7.01 there is no option to install ABAP + JAVA
together.
Â
your have to install separately ABAP and JAVA stack.
The default installation for BI from SAP is to install BI ABAP and BI JAVA
on two different system and it is SAP recommendation.
Â
If still you want to install BI dual Stack(ABAP+JAVA) there is a workaround
for this.
Check SAP Note 1181025 for detail description.

Hi,
I haven't used that exact installation kit, but I don't think you'll get
ABAP stack installed if you choose that option.
What are the other options?

Hi,
To install a BI ABAP JAVA,I think I need to choose:
SAP Application Server Java => MAXDB => Central system => Central system
Description:
Installs on one host SAP NetWeaver 7.0 including Enhancement Package 1
Support Release 1 including software units
Central System:
The installation sets up the following instances on a single host:
- Central services instance (SCS) (only for software units based on AS Java)
- Database instance
- Central instance
The central services instance is the main point of communication and
synchronization for the application server instances and consists of the
message server and the enqueue server. The SAP system software units AS ABAP
and AS Java use their own database schema in the same database. The central
instance is the core component of an SAP system and usually provides all SAP
system utilities.
You can also have one or more dialog instances. You can find the
installation option for dialog instances in Software Life-Cycle Options ->
Application Server
If I do this selection, the JAVA and ABAP will be installed ???
or after this installation, I need to install ABAP ...
Can you advise me?
