Do not hire a temp emp for the same position. Not a best practice. One option could be create a limited term position. Let me know if it works,Cheers

Hello all,
Just wanted to get an idea of other companies business proccess for inactive persons and the positions they hold.
When you have an employee that goes on a leave and and another active employee replace him during the leave do you create a new position or do you put the replacement person in the inactive person's position therefore having two people in one position?
I know SAP suggests only holder per position however would apply for the above scenario as well?
Let me know what how your company manages positions and employees on leave. Any feedback would be appriciated.
Thank you,
Heather
