Does this problem has to do with development?
IMO you have a basis problem and you should post this question in sap-basis.
Anyway, (and I'm not a basis guy...) when was the last time you "updated statistics" at rdbms level?
How do you notice the performance problems? Which transaction codes reflect this behaviour? Are those 1000 users in the same location or in different locations. If you have different sites, have you evaluated communication links?, which version of sap do you have, which version of Oracle? Do you have enough free dbspace, how about logical logs?, have you checked for any oss note that applies to your case? ... (there are hundreds of questions you should anwser before getting an idea of the source of your problems).
You have to determine the main bottlenecks as a first step. Then you could evaluate the risk of each and then you could set the different priorities and act accordingly.

Hi folks,
I am working as a SAP Basis Consultant in an MNC. I need some suggestions regarding performance of SAP.
I was having 1 Finance system and it was working fine. Now we have put logistics and all other modules on same system and added somewhere around 1000 users. It started handing. We upgraded system kernel and patches also but no resolution. We upgraded Oracle patches as well but no solution. Could anyone help me out regarding the same. I did all the things what I know but no resolution.
Do anyone have any resolution for the same ????
