I know for PO related invoices, we use CALL FUNCTION
'BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_PARK' to park the invoice.
for non-po related invoices, we dont park - we process or reject.

I am afraid you cannot park document with BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST. There
is a
standard SAP function for this: PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01, but it is
undocumented and can be not available in earlier versions (I see it in
ECC
6.0).
