Hi Kumart,
I would just add the profiles SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW to user sapbasis.
You use Tx SAINT to the Solution Manager * tools

Hi all
thanks for your replies. it was resolved .once again i reset the password of
it and restarted .
Hi Caddick
Thanks for your valuable advice.
1) i have created a user sapbasis copied from ddic through su01. shall i
use this sapbasis id for applying support packs. for this ddic user the
profiles are S_A.SYSTEM & SAP_ALL are there. i have copied sapbasis id from
this DDIC user. in this SAP_NEW profile is not there .shall i go ahead for
applying support packs with this sapbasis user id.
2) or shall i create new id as basis with SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW profile.with
this id shall i apply support packs.
3) how to apply ST-400 (ST 400 0012 SAPKITL422 SAP Solution
Manager Tool) and
ST-SER 700_2007_1 0001 SAPKITLOM1 SAP Solution Manager Service
Tools
which is required for maintance optimizer configuration in solman.
regards
