If the transfers will be between plants in two different company codes, then you can use intercompany purchase orders. These are similar to STOs but they have PIRs, so pricing conditions and planned delivery times may be used.

I'm not sure what you mean by "in transit" location. Is this an artificial location used to show stock being transferred? SAP uses stock-in-transit for this purpose.

There is no PIR available for STO. I think without the PIR you can work by
creating condition records for the required condition types and then default
it when you create STO.
