[sap-log-sd] New Measuring Point

Hi,
I wanted to attached a new measuring Point in the equipment master and start the reading from Zero.
I was succcesful inattaching to the equipment master but when i open a repair order in IW32, as the earlier measuring point is not getting inactivated and so it is not allowing me to open an order.
Error is "Last reading is greater that the present reading."
Any Helpers please to over come this!!!!!!!!!!!!
