The error message tells you all you need to know?
Your customising on free goods says that you should not delivery the free
material if the main purchased item is not available i.e. you don't want
to give stuff away free if you may never receive the revenue from the main
item.
Given you haven't said you don't want it working this way whats your
problem?

Hello,
Can someone guide me why and when does the following error message come?
Free goods group not complete (group will be deleted)
Message no. VL260
Diagnosis
The free goods for an order item can only be delivered if both the main
item and the corresponding free goods item can be delivered completely.
System Response
The order items for the free goods are not adopted into the delivery .
Procedure
Check the availability of the respective items and deliver the order items
once again.
