Like Horacio correctly point out, this will be largely due to database buffers. One thing to add is that you maybe ran the program directly after activating it. This could explain the relatively high percentage of system time

It deppends on the code, on the database buffers, etc. Have you taken the time and debuged it ?
BTW, posting an snippet of the code could be of great help.

in one of my programme the graph shows abap-40 db -20 system 40.
when i run the same programme without any modification with same parametres in selection screen it shows
abap 94 db-4 system-2.Am really confused.plz comment. __.____._
