Hi,
I just want to clarify some confusion with a couple of expressions here.
The expressions are SR and SPS
- SR stands for Service Release or Support Release.
- SPS stands for Support Package Stack.
SR refers to the patch levels that are bundled with a SAP Installation Kit,
but also the version of SAPinst, Language Packs and so on.
You cannot patch a system from SR2 to SR3. You patch a system from e.g.
SPS14 to e.g. SPS19.

LEH

Hi all,
I have to install SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3, which according to a note , if i
have to install on 32-Bit will require me to install in these 2 steps: from
the SAP-Note --1108852
1) Install SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR2
2)Patch this system to SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3
My question is , what are the default patch levels of NW 7.0 SR2 and NW 7.0
SR3 and how to do it. (SPAM -- right)
Thanks..
