Reply from CWK on Nov 9 at 3:58 PM Units of measure can really be a pain. I take it you have a UoM for Piece and another for Set. I'm guessing they are both non-dimensional units of measure (this may seem obvious, but I've seen some crazy UoMs). Does 1 Piece = 1 Set? Is the Piece/Set conversion already defined as one of the alternate UoMs on the material master. Which UoM is the Base UoM for the material? Do you have bills of material that use Piece as the component UoM? You mind find more insight in the Inventory user group since those are the folks who get hammered when the Base UoM is A, the purchasing UoM is B, the part is used on one BOM with UoM C and another BOM with D.
