I think you're going to have to provide all the software version #s for anyone to even have a chance to help you. SAP, Windows, SAP GUI, MS-Excel. I've only ever supported SAP GUI in English & French and at times even the French accented characters were problematic - so if you've got Chinese working, you are ahead of me. Thai was a 3-byte character encode before UTF; Chinese was 2-byte/character.
