I believe that "Output Determination is part of link to the SD documents of
a functional output in SAP. I guess, your requirement is different then
this one.
*Output Determination in SAP* SD using Tcode V/30. *Output determination* is
the process to determine the "media" *such as printouts*, telexes, faxes,
e-mails, or EDI that are sent from one business to any of its business
partners. Customer master - *Output determination* can be maintained in
customer master.

also, check something called "Output Determination". Some transactions, such as printing a PO can be configured through SPRO to force a user to print to a specific printer. Check with your functional team about this.
