To do a 'repeat scheduling' for a previous job ? find the job in SM37, click once on that line item, then do a right click.
In the right click popup window one of the options is 'repeat scheduling'.
Or ? once again in SM37, click once on the job in question then from the 'jog' drop down menu choose 'repeat scheduling'.

Thanks for your response. I can't seem to find the repeat scheduling option where would this be as I have looked through all the menus. Is it possible I don't have this option on my SAP? As for find out why it failed your message confused me slightly. Very technical. :-)
