When you say charged to xxxxx, I presume you mean that the Internal Order has a settlement rule that determines where to post its value to which effectively closes its value to zero at that point in time. (Which could be monthly or at its end of use)

The settlement rule shows whether the Interal Order is going to settle (close) to a balance sheet account or to a Cost Centre or to some other Internal Order or to Profitability Analysis or to an Asset.
So ? to tell where the internal order settles/closes to, just check its settlement rule 'account assignment category' found in the settlement rule screen.

Regards,
Ken

What is the difference between an Internal Order charged to a Cost Center and an Internal Order charged to a Balance Sheet account. Also how can you tell if the Internal Order is one charged to a Cost Center and one charged to a Balance Sheet Account.in SAP under Transaction Code KO02.

thanks
