Reply from josephanandb on Dec 6 at 1:31 PM Thanks so much Philip for the explanation. I agree if this PI creation is done manually or in Foreground .If the cycle counting document is created through job , as per your example PI documents are created for all 500 items ( say 10 PI - 50 per PI as per config setup) . So all these 500 SKUs will be shown in the job spool that " For 500 SKUs , Physical inventory must be done " in essence, I reckon there is no impact of float time coming in and these 500 SKUs will continue to be shown in job spool till business counts or deletes uncounted PI documents . Please let me know if my understanding is correct .

Suppose the float time for cycle count indicator A (12 times a fiscal year)is defined as 5 days . Assuming if the batch job runs once in day for the plant and if the PI gets document created on the first due day itself , then there is no use real use for floats days ? Background job is going create the PI document on its proposed date and hence I am not sure how the float days will influence the grace period . Thanks in Advance for your immediate response . | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
