The entry date or aka document date is the date the document was created. The posting date is the date you want it to hit the "books" or financials. For example in a process order the product was produced on 8-23-16 but I didn't do the MB31 101 mvt until 8-24-16, but I posted it for
8-23-16 because that is when it was really produced. That affects the SLED also.

I have data here where the Entry Date is always later than the Posting date and I can't get my head around it.
