Hi,

Use Formula to calculate the no of days.

In the formula you would need to create *two formula variables of type
replacement path*, replace be key and *reference characteristics* - 'from
date' in one variable and 'to date' in other.

This is if you have separate characteristics for 'from date' and 'to date',
for user entry.

If the 'from date' and 'to date' are values in the variable from the same
characteristic, then use the*replace from variable* option in defining the
formula variable. Then make the 'from date' and 'to date' mandatory for
input.

Next, apply simple subtraction to obtain difference in days.

Lastly, if you are using replacement type ---> replace from characteristic,
and if the formula is being created in *columns*, the characteristics with
whose keys the formula variable will be replaced should be in *rows* and
vice versa.

Regards

Rubi Singh

Subject: Different Between Posting and Entry Date

Morning all,

Could you tell me the difference between the two above dates?

I have data here where the Entry Date is always later than the Posting date and I can't get my head around it.

Thanks
