Toolbox sap-hrHRS = YSBO means

S <- ENTRY DATE IN INFOTYPE 0000
B <- START OF TIME EVALUATION PERIOD
O <-FULL MONTHS

2 parameter on the right hand side S stands for entry date in infotype 0000 ( Actions) hence what you are getting is the correct result.
In order to get the expected result that you need

HRS = YDAOXX( where I am assuming your date type in infotype 0041 is XX and you want to calculate in whole months) ELSE
HRS = YDAAXX(where Ii XX is your date type in IT 0041 and you want to calculate in full days)

D <- READ DATE TYPE FROM INFOTYPE 0041
A <- DATE OF THE EVALUATED DAY
O <- MONTHS
ELSE
A - FOR DAYS
XX <- DATE TYPE IN INFOTYPE 0041

This should help you sort your problem.

Subject: Seniority Calculations In Time Evaluation

We recently finished a support pack update on our SAP production system. Before the upgrade, the schema line HRS=YSBO returned the number of months between an infotype 41 value and the current date. After the upgrade, the same line is returning the number of months between the infotype 0000 start date and the current date.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would change and how to fix it?
