See below. I am now trying to move transport into our Pre-Productive environment, which does NOT have Client opened via SCC4. I have however set the following to modifiable in Target System:
Software Component:
CPMBPC
HOME
LOCAL
Namespaces:
Customer Name Range
General SAP Name Range
/1CPMB/
/B28/
/CPMB/
/POA/
We have a BPC Model in the Target System and we are trying to transport a new one from Dev.
However this is failing with error (RC=8):
The error was
Start of the after-import method UJT_LOGO_AFTER_IMPORT for object type (s) AAPP, AAPS, ABPC, ABRU, ACGA, ACLB, ADAF, ADMIN, ADML, ( )
Start after import in client 500 for RFC BIQCLNT-RFC; running client 000
Error occurred while importing
End of after import methode UJT_LOGO_AFTER_IMPORT (activation mode) - runtime: 00:04:17
We got around this in QA by opening Client in SCC4 and all went in OK, but this is NOT possible in Pre-Productive or Productive Environments.
Can anyone tell me what is required to get transport in?

I am looking for something that says in a Productive system you must have defined Namespaces/Components open, I think including HOME, Local, Customer Name Range and General SAP Name Range to modifiable (as it seemed to be setting these in our QA system allowed transport (not sure if we needed the Client Open or not?)
