Reply from David Slocum on Apr 1 at 3:40 PM Then you only need to run SWPM once. The ABAP code is stored in the database which is shared amongst all of the app servers of a given SAP system. SWPM updates the ABAP code stored in the database, and all app servers will automatically see the updated code. There is a little bit more going on here behind the scenes, but that's roughly what's happening. Please read the SWPM guide carefully and follow the procedure given there and you won't go wrong.
